We love it when our Scouts learn about our system of government and see it in action. It is even better when they are a part of that action.
Every year, we go on a big trip as a Pack and this year was to Seawolf Park in Galveston, home of the Destroyer Escort USS Stewart and WWII submarine USS Cavalla.

The North Shore District Awards Celebration was last night and Pack 170 had a strong showing including Pack of the year and the highest honor a BSA district can bestow, the District Award of Merit to Mr. Nick
A little “Blue” as our Arrow of Light Scouts left our pack and graduated into Scouts BSA, but very “Gold” with pride for all that they achieved in Cub Scouting.
Do you recognize the smiling eyes? We do because she has worked with our Arrow of Light Scouts before to help them understand how our government works. We were very happy to welcome her back again this year as well.
Thanks to Ms. Patricia for arranging this joint trip to Inner Space Caverns with Pack 27 of Chisholm Trail District. It was an amazing journey into an alien landscape hiding beneath us.
